Re: could songwriting be an addiction?

once i a while i bump this one up
because i want to know...
my songwriting addiction is getting out of hand more and more, making my production slower at the same time (too many options), and i just want to know how the newer forum members are coping with this, so here is the survey once more...honest answers please

Q1 when you are going on a holiday for week or longer, do you feel an urge to take an instrument of some kind with you?
O Yes   O No   O Luckily I never go on a holiday

Q2 Have you ever thought I really had to go to bed because you had to get to work early next day, but thought, let me just finish the recording of this one track....and went on and on?
O yes    O no, never happened to me   O happens to me at least once a week

Q3 Have you ever cancelled an appointment or social engagment, making an excuse you had to work, but in fact all you wanted was to make music?

O Yes   O no, I would never do that   O I do that all the time

Q4 Have you ever entered a music store, thinking that you were just going to have a little look at the instruments / equipment, but came home with something expensive?

O yes      O no    O don't want to talk about this

Q5: open question: doe you have given any of your instruments or equipment  a (pet) name? And if so, what is it .........

Re: could songwriting be an addiction?

1 yes... Even if it's just that silly guitar and piano apps I have on my phone. But that would be going real cold turkey. Although I am improving on the apps  Tongue

2 Haha. Every night.

3 I try not to make them in the first place.

4 Failed on this one. My missus is just too fierce haha  Grin

5 hahahahaha. My guitar is called Shit. Because it is. I'm not sure if it likes it's name or not, I never thought to ask. But I still treat it

well so I guess it doesn't mind. Although it is an it, rather than a he or she which doesn't bode well I don't suppose  Tongue

To get a review, give some reviews. Give and take. Simples. If that's too complicated........
