Hi Songwritersforum.
I am a independent music producer. I have contracts with several good production music libraries that place music to film, tv, game, media etc.
I am searching for singer/songwriter(s) & rappper(s) to work with on new projects in the genres r&b, indie pop, house, indie rock, electronic, pop, hip-hop, synth-pop, dance & rap.
I offer 50/50 share of publishing & all monies earned.

Only reply if you:
Are a member of a PRO.
Have at least 1 example of your work for me to hear (a stream link or email me an mp3)
Have acess to recording equipment & can work remotely (I am not offering studio time)
 
I want to connect with talented artists. I do not care if you are a seasoned pro or a newbie. As long as you can bring it.

Welcome to the forum. Please can you be more specific about the kind of working relationships you're looking to foster with members of the forum. I also make music for libraries, so I know how it works.

What level of collaboration are you looking for? Whole songs to produce? Help adding lyrics or other elements? Please be specific. What exactly are you offering to bring to the table? (Members could just take their songs direct to publishers after all...) Also, you say that you're offering a 50/50 publishing split? Well, if you're going to be submitting to your existing contacts, they're going to take 50% on average. Which means you'll be splitting the remaining 50% with the other writer, meaning you'll each receive 25% of the publishing, correct?

Q. What level of collaboration are you looking for?
A. I produce, mix and master, you provide the vocal recording and lyrics. This can be an original song or an existing song you have. Original material only. Not interseted in covers.
Q. Clarify publishing split.
A. Production library. Library 50% artist 50% we share equally 50%
Direct to supervisor/curator. Artist 50% artist 50%
Sucessful pitch to artist/label. Negotiated split label to label. Exclusive or non exclusive etc.
Q. What are bringing to the table?
A. Quality chart worthy productions. (Check the links in original post.) Everything else I bring is a private conversation to those I will be working with.

Thanks for clarifying there. Do you have a sample contract you could share with anyone who's interested? Something between you and the songwriter?

No problem at all.
After I have heard and liked an example of any interested songwriters I will skype, email or telephone them. We will discuss the work I have, what they want from the partnership and get to know each. If everyone is still up for working together a contract will be sent for the songwriter to review and sign if the terms are agreeable to them. Nothing complicated, the contract is to protect both parties and allow the song(s) we work on to be used regardless of any change in each writers circumstance.
