Hey, so I'm writing this whole new album. And usually when I do, I run out of ideas pretty quickly. There's this exercise I do where I do like an overview/outline of the album. I write the name of a song and a description of the story I want to write from that. And from that, I could write the lyrics to an album in one day. And most of them usually make the cut. So I was working on this new free album and I thought, I should share the experience with the songwriters of this forum. Every 24 hours, I will post a title and a description for a song, and participants can post lyrics they could fathom from what they got. I will put a poll and the songs with the highest votes will get to collaborate with EDM producer Keen(https://soundcloud.com/eude-lesperance/) on making the songs happen and make a whole album that could twin with mine. I think it'd be a fun, challenging and interesting activity so make the most of it and join.

First one, I'll start off with the saddest one. I won't give a specific genre, as I think all genre can tell the same story.
"This man(Boy) is vulnerable and left lonely at home since she(Girl) left him alone. Now he's just staring at his phone, thinking if he should call her to come home."

Intro
I wanna call you home
Let you know you're not alone
Wherever it is you're gone
I hope you'll pick up the phone
I'll call you home

Verse I
Beep beep, I could feel the tension
Time flies, hours every second
This life, means nothing without you
And now, I don't know what to do

Pre-Chorus
We're all living in a big big world
But you're the only one I want at all
And I missed you since the day you left

Chorus
I wanna call you home
Let you know you're not alone
Wherever it is you're gone
I hope you'll pick up the phone
Just let me let you know
That my doors are never closed
So wherever it is you're gone
Baby I'll call you home

Verse II
Ring, ring on my doorbell, yeah
Too bad it wasn't you eh
But if it was I could tell
I'd cry and hug you too eh

Pre-Chorus
We're all living in a big big world
But you're the only one I want at all
And I missed you since the day you left

Chorus
I wanna call you home
Let you know you're not alone
Wherever it is you're gone
I hope you'll pick up the phone
Just let me let you know
That my doors are never closed
So wherever it is you're gone
Baby I'll call you home

Bridge
I'd pick the phone up, but I'm afraid
Of nothing else no, but what you'd say
I know we had problems, so you went away
I think we could solve them, if we talked today
I know we had problems, so you went away
I think we could solve them, if we talked today

Feature Verse
I didn't do anything, that was my excuse
But I put you after everything, even my schedule
You were my everything though
And I was a fool
Now I'm sitting all alone
Drowning in a pool
My phone right next to me, your number on speed dial
But all the words are in my head, making a big pile
I tried to forget you but your stain's on my collar
I tried to wash it but it spread up to my molar
My lips are missing you, my feet are getting cold
And I can't float a boat with a flow so low
No boast so I need to row
And I feel weight in my clothes
But I can wait no longer
You left me cause you started to feel like a stranger
Now I just want you here with a
Smile brighter than the stars we kiss under
And my car moving with no keys in the ignition
I'll just pick up where we left off
There's no one else I wanna love
So I'll pick up the phone with all my courage
I'll pick up the phone and I'll say"hey"

Chorus
I wanna call you home
Let you know you're not alone
Wherever it is you're gone
I hope you'll pick up the phone
Just let me let you know
That my doors are never closed
So wherever it is you're gone
Baby I'll call you home
