About the intimidation part: just like you I feel intimidated a lot listening to the work of others around here, and yes the standards can be really high... I always feel I can learn by listening to the work of others, just like you did listening to my song. That makes this platform so valuable! So please don't compare, but by posting your work (as an artist) and receiving feedback on the one hand, and delivering feedback (as a listener) on the other hand you are contributing to and learning from a community that loves home-made music.. One day this type of communities will beat the big recording and publishing labels imo... Thanks for commenting and when I get back from my vacation I'll search for your work and feed you back!
