That is great news

How are you balancing launching yourself as an artist and also pitching songs?

I would be really interested to know how you plan to manage that - or do you need a plan to manage it?

Do you select songs for "you" and then pitch others or are they constantly interchangeable?

Congratz and well deserved

Thanks everyone.

Just had a listen and they finish the show with my track.

Boydie - BBC Introducing is for any unknown music makers (you could give it a go if you wanted).

It's a non-exclusive agreement. I'm ok with that.

You know by now that I use any and every way I can to get my songs into the ears of music contacts! :-)

Yes, but I thought you were still wanting to launch as an artist? (album releases, bbc introducing etc.)

Or are you just concentrating on getting your music "out there" and decide which path later (or go where things take you?)

I am genuinely interested as I thought you would focus on one or t'other - or have to manage the 2 different approaches separately

Are you pitching yourself as an artist to labels as well as pitching songs to publishers etc. ?

Just a songwriter Paul. Period. Unless it's a friends wedding!

Thanks Benjo 😀

Just had a listen Alan. Nice song....sounded great, pristine vocal.

Congrats on getting a play. I'm sure you'll get more in the future.

Yeah, don't know why some of the others on here don't have a crack at their local station.

I said it before on Digger's post...that BBC Introducing is a good showcase, isn't it?

Tell us when you're up again so I can have a listen.
Take it easy.

You can check my stuff out here. Mini-album getting bigger slowly. Free download if you're poorer than me.
