Got a little political here.....
On deadly ground I wandered, and wondered is this hell
The daylight glow, surrounds me now, apocalyptic hell
A dirty bomb for a dirty war, a pocket full of cash
You my friend, you got some balls yeah, step on up
Well show this crazy world, in which we live
Just who's in charge

Weve got this thing under control
Weve got your interests in our hearts
Weve got your blood on our hands
Weve got this thing under control

A little lie, in point of fact
The masses will be heard
Cos a lone single voice aint gonna change the world, let alone sad songs
cos a little fear goes a long long way
words cannot convey
And if i could yes i would, if i could
Id show this crazy world, in which we live
Just who's in charge

Weve got this thing under control
Weve got your interests in our hearts
Weve got your blood on our hands
Weve got this thing under control

Got my head nodding along to this one! Driving bass line, nice rhythm guitar going on and a big chorus feel. Slight Status Quo feel in the guitar riff in intro and after chorus which is no bad thing. Only nit is that I thought the hi hat/cymbals were fairly loud in the mix as were the rest of the drums. Possibly gotta been toned down ever so slightly to let that kick ass bass line come through more and that recurring guitar riff.

That kick ass bass line is my brothers fault, he's awesome. Funnily enough he recorded that in one take after about 10 beers. get your point with the drums also now you mention it. Thanks.

You've got a really nice sound going on! I love the guitars and as has been mentioned, the bass line is great. I found it hard to make out what you were saying at times without the lyrics though. That's not necessarily a bad thing!
It's a good solid song, I don't think it needs any major changes. I  think it would be good to get some backing vocals higher in the mix towards the end (I think they're there but they're hard to make out). It would just make it sound much bigger I think.
Good job!

Hi,
Song has a really nice sound.  Well sung and good melody. Had a bit of a retro feel that we enjoyed.

Regard,
Mike and Jay
