Nice, like it, agree with all the good points mentioned.
Potential winner :)

Just, from time to time, on the right the strumming sound sounded a bit
distracting/annoying for my right sensitive ear.

Cheers,

 Hey Boydie,

 Happy birthday  ;D ;D  We should hold a party.  ;D ;D
You've been here longer than 3 years though...haven't you ?

Great song mate, perfect for what it is intended, I'd have thought.
But I think you're swimming in a pond full of big fish there.  So
best of luck with it.  Ticks all the right boxes for me anyway  ;D ;D

Was getting a bit of Tom Petty in there somewhere, more in the
composition than the vocal. Very catchy, nice melodies and full
of little hooks.  Very professional piece of writing.

Here's to the next 3 years.....don't ya just love this place  ;D ;D

Nowt as queer as folk...........my gran

The voice is reminiscent in timbre to Garcia. The accent, although it is not quite American, has a southern quality that is very appealing.

The lyrics are good but with that guitar and voice, I think this guy could sing the grocery list and it would sound like good music.

What is the accent?

Very relaxing song, something I feel like listening to while sitting outside in the sun with a glass of whisky. The verse is a bit generic, I feel like I've heard it before. The chorus, on the other hand, gives the song more character. I like that it's a sad song, but still quite up-beat. The hole-in-my-wall/soul theme is cool :) and the guitar solo is amazing, sounds like the guitar is melting! Overall a very good-sounding track.

The songs I have heard of you up to now seem to have been very diverse. :) I remember you writing songs you could play in a club and now this.
I agree with what all the others have said. Very nice simple song!

This is instantly likable and familiar.  :)

Not much to add Boydie other than good luck with it.

Perfect for the brief... Fits like a glove.

The pauses on "world" at about 2.38 and again after are a really nice touch - will give the programme makers some nice variety of options to use different bits of the song for different purposes in the prog if when they select it!

Sounds as pro as they come to my amateur ears  ;D
