This month their was a long list of great songs up for consideration and as always, this shortlist could have been much longer.

A couple of things that need mentioning - "Jenny" by James Nighthawk would have been on the list but it's more of a remix than a complete re-working. Sorry James but I'm trying to be fair to those who have posted excellent brand new songs. The same applies to "Taking The Sun Home" by Alan Starkie.

4 members (retrononomusic, Paulski, Mark Ryan & shadowfax) each posted 2 songs that I thought were good enough to shortlist but I'm only featuring 1 from each. Again, it's fairer to everyone else.

OK folks. Time is running out to vote. You have till midnight this coming Sunday. At the moment, everyone on the shortlist has received at least 1 vote and 2 people are currently tied for first place. It's going to go right down to the wire so if you haven't already voted (and over 3000 of you haven't), do it now.
