Love the lyric.  I particularly love the chorus... but the verses are strong too.  I was able to find no less than three different ways to sing the verses so it's totally ready to accept music. 

I'm looking forward to hearing it sung and played.

I'm getting an EDM vibe with this one (now that i know what EDM is!).

Same kind of theme as Cher and Turn Back Time.

I could hear a tune as i read this too and should imagine it would go easily to music.

Hi there

This has a great flow to it and I can almost hear a female singer singing it.
The only sugg I would have is to somehow get the theme further away from the Cher song.
Your song has "Master" in place of "Turn Back" but is otherwise an identical title. Maybe something like "Why can't I Master Time?" or "I want to Master Time"

Otherwise it's good to go for music IMO
