Some of the lyrics were changed when Ben (Doodles) added music, and the vocalist made some changes to accommodate the music.  I modified the lyric quickly, so some differences might still remain undetected.

Thank you to Ben and the vocalist.  I love what they've done for this lyric.

A LITTLE LOVE

A little love
surely couldn’t hurt
and it could chase that ole sad attitude away.

Happiness
could be
just a little love away, .

A little love might be just the thing you need.
no way of telling where a little love could lead.

A little love is never hard to find.
A little love could bring you peace of mind.

A little love might be just the thing you need.
no way of telling where a little love could lead.

A little love is never hard to find.
A little love could bring you peace of mind.

Happiness
can be found
by any  heart that’s open.
Don't tether it to fear
of a heart being broken.

A little love is never hard to find.
A little love could bring you peace of mind.

A little love might be just the thing you need.
no way of telling where a little love could lead.

A little love is never hard to find.
A little love could bring you peace of mind.

Love will seek
any heart that’s not afraid
to peek outside the shields of fears employ every day.

Happiness might be just a little love away.

A little love is never hard to find.
A little love could bring you peace of mind.

A little love might be just the thing you need.
no way of telling where a little love could lead.

A little love is never hard to find.
A little love could bring you peace of mind.

It could be nice , but i found the phrase "a little love" a bit to much and irritating by time i was half way through. Is there any way of doing it without repeating that bit so much ?
Liked the piano.  :)

There's a good commercial song in there.. for me the piano was too busy and always fighting with the vocal but this is definitely a song with possibilities.

Hi Kevin:   I too found the piano too busy (in parts - not throughout the song) and I'll talk to the composer about making some modifications.   I also thought it was too "flat."  (i.e. not enough variation between the separate components of the song).

Only the lyrics are mine.

I think that the piano "fighting with the vocal" would actually be compelling if it were done intermittently instead of throughout the song.  I'd like to hear your opinion on that.

Thanks so much for the input, and for listening.

Yeah, for sure the piano needs to ''calm down'' during the singing and in between it can do it's stuff a bit more...
