Hi.

I am having a major struggle organising the lyrics I have written: I am probably at my most creative phase thus far, but my ideas only come out in spurts - I only write a few lines of lyrics, ranging from a singular line to at most 12 lines. I have now amassed over 12,000 words of material, but am struggling to write songs as my lyrics are scattered all over the place, making my efforts very disjojnted. I have struggled categorising the lyrics due to amount I have written making this very problematic.

Does anyone have any recommendations on how I can resolve this probelm, giving me a structure and relatively simple process to formulate songs out of the lyrics I have written?

Many thanks in advance!

Read up on song structure then...are you trying to write popular songs..then ABABCB...!
Don't write massive  'RAP' style  verses,,, get your story before you commit to words....lyrics are not random  lines thrown together.
