Nice one Tony.
Esp liked the theme "You can't treat me like this!" so there - HA!
The one line tripped me up the slightest was:

"someone you think I've been with" seems to have too many syllables

maybe:

was it something you heard
about who I've been with

The rest flows like a river and I felt for the guy - poor sod.

Ohhhh! I enjoyed reading these lyrics. I think I'll start a club of people wanting to hear this with music. It is veeeery well written! Loved the placement of ''you can't treat me like this'' line! There are so many of those ''left with a broken heart'' songs, which I think is great (!), but sometimes it can get a bit repetitive, which is not the case here. You created some amazing lines and I would not change anything. I think this is really really good, you made it interesting to read and that's what I loved.

Hi Tony,

great lyrics, just a couple of tweaks from me.

I think "and I can't handle it" and "please don't treat me like this" work better. If somebody was singing "you can't handle it" to me, my response would be, really... we'll see about that. Same response to "you can't treat me like this". It would mean the title would need to be changed, perhaps: Please, don't treat me like this.

We're a feisty lot in Hull so feel free to ignore my suggestions if you don't think they'll work.

 DIADEMGROVE,        i think you've missed something here Keith
                                the guy in the song is speaking to the girl
                                if i put and i can't handle it, that could not work
                                also if i put, please don't treat me like this
                                it wouldn't show his anger or bring that over

                                he's angry because of the way she ended it
