Hello forum people, as requested we are running a Halloween competition and it is to be called the

SUPER SCARY SUPERNATURAL HALLOWEEN STYLE SONGWRITING COMPETITION

Or SSSHSSC for short.

It is the perfect competition to release you inner spook just in time for the winner(s) to be announced on Halloween; this means the deadline for brainstorming, writing, recording and producing will be (something like) the 16th October. This gives us 2 weeks of voting to decide the winner. Also 16 is my lucky number. Win win situation.

The theme is incredibly broad- don't feel limited to carving pumpkins! Halloween encompasses not only seasonal activities but supernatural-ness and the feeling of fear itself, so it's totally down to personal interpretation (unless you submit a Christmas song in which case LEAVE because it's not even November yet).

Anyone can enter but lyrics will not be accepted on their own and group compositions will be encouraged because I do love a good collab (who doesn't!). It's one entry per person UNLESS you're entering a solo song and a collaboration in which case I will accept. Because I'm nice like that.

Prizes are yet to be decided although I'm sure someone that's not me will think of something nice.

So far the entrants are *drumroll please*
Neil C
Digger72
Crystalsuzy
Paulski
Dutchbeat
Diademgrove
HabiTat
Manofsimplepleasures
Jamie
Benjo
Dutchbin
Hardtwistmusic
Torgny_n

If you, yes YOU, want to get involved comment below and I will add your name to the list (if your name isn't on the list it doesn't mean you can't join in, it just gives me a rough idea of figures).

Or if you have any competition contribution/ideas/just want to hi you can also comment below or PM me.

Hi Neil, I'm afraid you're gonna need some rock and roll counselling. 2 months of AC/DC followed by 3 months each of Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple. Then you should make a full recovery!
Cheers
Jamie
I think some scary Halloween music may just be too much for a you at this stage of your recovery :o
