Hello, this is a lyric I have written to an exsisting piece of music - A rock song

It's is from the point of view of a cult leader. The intial bit is spoken, in the style of Bray Wyatt (if any of you watch the WWE) if not, it is in the tone of a charimatic baptist demagogue.

Some of the notes are quite long sustained wails General rule of thumb is the more exclamation marks the longer the note is held for.

Bend Your Knee

We stand before the dawn of a golden age
Where mankind casts off it shackles
and is free!
from the tyranny of the unknown
I have seen the promised land
and all its riches
Beyond your wildest dreams!

Don't put your faith in falacies
Psychosamatic maladies
Distortions of reality
Another hopeless casualty
Don't follow their formalities
Laborious normality
We can transcend mortality
If you just come and follow me

I'll give you everything you need
All I ask is you concede
I own the very air you breath
Sovereignty has been decreed
I'll take your wealth to stem your greed
Hold your chains when you are freed
A final warning you must heed
All who enter, cannot leave

Serve me... Like a prophet
I can give you all you want
If you just bend your knee.

Serve me... Like a prophet
I can give you all you want
If you just bend your knee.

Ask. What you need them for
Break. Down their social norms
Don't. Take it anymore
They build you up to watch you fall !!!!! x2
Fall !!!!

Serve me! Like a prophet
I can give you all you want
If you just bend your knee.

Serve me! Like a prophet
I can give you all you want
If you just bend your knee.

Follow me
Follow me
Follow me!!!

Don't put your faith in falacies
Psychosamatic maladies
Distortions of reality
Another hopeless casualty
Don't follow their formalities
Laborious normality
We can transcend mortality
If you just come and follow me

follow me!

Serve me! Like a prophet
I can give you all you want
If you just bend your knee.

Serve me! Like a prophet
I can give you all you want
If you just bend your knee.

Bend your knee, to  me
Bend your knee, to  me
Bend your knee, to  me
Bend your knee!!

Hello there,

I watched wwe before, I understood what he was saying.  I like the lyrics as it has got alot of truth to it. Some people in the mainstream don't write lyrics like these.

Your lyrics are interesting .

Good job. :)

       Onemanband, Hey!
I'll take your wealth to stem your greed
Hold your chains when you are freed  [ yea, i believe you man]
A final warning you must heed
All who enter, cannot leave. [ Too late]

Great lines, and the entire song is right here. Dare i say it, this song passes the kool aid acid test.

Hi onemanband, Yes! what a interesting lyric you have here, even though I don't like to read song lyrics that are so long.

I like this:

Don't put your faith in falacies
Psychosamatic maladies
Distortions of reality
Another hopeless casualty
Don't follow their formalities
Laborious normality
We can transcend mortality
If you just come and follow me

Very well put together. Keep it up.

Irwin
