Reading through the posts in this section, it doesn't appear many composers are too keen on creating music to someone elses lyrics for reasons that appear quite valid.
However, I'm hoping my request is somewhat unique and that someone out ther will take sympathy with my plight.
I am not a song writer and have no desire to be a song writer in the future, but I do have to fullfill a goal that is one of my 100 things I need to do before I die. I have to write some lyrics, get them set to music and hear it sung. If you're interested, it's number 34 on my bucket list and as I'm entering the autumn of my life, I wanted to get it out of the way before my mind goes wandering.
So if there are any sympathetic talented musicians out there who can help me as a one off project to set my lyrics to music, I would eternally grateful to hear from you.
