I think you are a very accomplished player. I think this could be the basis for a good song. I think I admire your level of skill (bows and scrapes). Taking this and making a great song is a huge leap. Unfortunately, being a great player is very undervalued - a catchy tune, pretty face and modern production wins all the time. As the great guitarist, song writer and producer Chet Atkins famously said - "There is no money above the 5th fret". What he was trying to say is that guitar virtuosity will not make you money but writing great 3 chord songs based on the open chords just might! Ask Bob Dylan or Neil Young.

I agree with Montydog that this is a very skillfully played piece. 

I think it would take a lyric well.   If you would like one, let me know.  I could get you several examples of guitar music (all kinds) that I have (successfully I think) added lyrics and vocal treatment to difficult guitar pieces. 

Let me know if you'd like the lyric/vocal treatment, and let me know if you'd like to hear the examples first.

 I really hope you have a good set of lyrics for this
 because it just cries out to be a cracking blues number

 that was like watching magic for me
