I'm currently doing some work for a client, who has appeared on American Idol, and is looking to buy the rights to songs which he can record for his album.
The style of music that he's interested in is kind of slow countryish stuff... think Ray Lamontagne, and similar artists.
This is a genuine opportunity for songwriters to sell their work, and get some recognition for their songwriting talents.
If you have anything going, please upload a recording of it (doesn't have to be brilliant quality, just so long as he can get a feel for the song) and either send me the link in a PM, or reply to this thread.
