At the moment, I'm listening to  'What is Love for' by Justin Currie, (The title track is magnificent),  An introduction to Lauren Pritchard (I saw her live earlier this year and was blown away), 'Intriguer' by Crowded House (as always, top quality songwriting)  Lloyd Cole's 'Antidepressant' and 'Music In a Foreign Language' albums have been favourites for some time now.  Prefab Sprout 'Let's Change The World With Music' (I rate Paddy McAloon as a songwriter, above The Beatles) All  subjective of course!

Right now I'm listening to my wife (soon to be ex if she keeps this up) moaning 'cause I'm on "the bloody laptop again!!!" lol. Got a bit of Simon & Garfunkel on at the mo, somebody mentioned them on the forum the other day and put me in the mood. Also listening to Lissie - Catching a Tiger, sounds a little bit like Stevie Nicks, really good.

Liam.

Paul Simon, I agree is a wonderful writer.  The Simon & Garfunkel songs associated with the film 'The Graduate' made such an impression on me when I was a youngster many years after their initial release.  Happy memories!

I have been listening loads to a guy called The Tallest Man on Earth who is a Swedish folk singer reminiscent of Bob Dylan, who writes beautiful lyrics and chord progressions.

Highly, highly recommended.

Currently into 'The Who' and in particular, 'Who's next'. 'Won't Get Fooled Again' has to be one of the greatest tracks ever.

Got the new Scott Matthews album 'elsewhere' on a lot lately, and the fantastic 'tunesmith retrofit' by Kelly Joe Phelps. I highly recommend both - they're both amazing guitar players too :)

I'm currently looking into the new up and coming alternative rock bands :)
There is so many that sound so familiar which is very dissapointing :( but when you find someone different its a great feeling :D
I've seen this band perform live and they were very good, if your interested in that Genre check out
Canterbury at http://www.canterburythankyou.com/ :)
