I keep a book of titles, to use as inspirations, but they can also be a good lyric too.

Hey Stylus, no trains here where I am so i go bus spotting, no where near as good :(

As for songs, i think they begin with an idea. Some times I start out with a title but by the time i get to the chorus, i always write verses first, the line has to change so it was really only an idea again in the end.

I always come up with a song title first and then write the chorus. Everything else seems to take shape after that.
