Hi Alexander, happy new year to you too. I've said before you have a unique style and that hasn't changed. Are you using a standard tuning? The chords sound good. Like it a lot, you're experimenting a bit with the arrangement, rather than solo acoustic guitar.
Nice one
Cheers
Jamie

What hit me in a very positive way was how well the musical background supplemented and supported the understated guitar work in the front.  The background was just that - background - when it needed to be, then "came to the front" just exactly how, and when needed.  I can't get that out of my head.

It's a nice, simple lyric with deep undertones, and it works extremely well with the music.

Overall, this was my favorite piece by you.

Took me quite a few plays over a long time to see this for what it is...  A beautiful song.
I have to admit I didn't like it at first but I think that was me and where my head has been.
Listening this morning it all clicked and fell into place.
I like the imagery and the feel. It is a really lovely song. And the performance is very relaxed and agreeable. Good stuff. Perhaps I will review again when I have more time.

I like this song. It has an honesty to it and the chords are interesting. It's not following a formula and is refreshing for that. It's personal, like a poem. One question - what do you do with it now?

I think this is the best I have heard from you

The strings are absolutely sublime swirling away in the background but never muddying the mix

The guitar sound is also particularly nice and "woody"

This should be a repetitive song that gets "tired" - but it just doesn't and I can't quite work out why!

I think it could be down to the "counter rhythm" you seem to naturally introduce with your strumming

I also really like the "off" timing on the introduction of the vocal, as well as the pauses in the tracks, which all subtly add to holding the interest

The only thing that I could think of adding that wouldn't ruin the stripped back feel is a sprinkling of bass guitar to give the track a little more "depth"

Great stuff

Hello Boydie and many thanks.I think your words means I get better. ;D
Thats fine cause I´m working hard on that.
I also could think of adding a bass guitar would be great but I´m sorry I can´t play bass.

Hallo fisch!

Your songs are so appealing, every one of them. There's something about them that is so likeable. Who said "vulnerability" above? I forget who said it, but it feels apt for many of your songs. And it's so hard to say what it is about your songs that makes them so touching....is it your lyrics, which always touch on different subjects in a unique, idiosyncratic, poetic way...or your voice which is melancholy with an unusual hard edge...or your guitar playing which is familiar like an old friend but still a little bit exotic and kind of searching... I don't know what it is, but i love it!

You know what would be fun in this would be to finish it all off with hundreds of chiming and ringing clocks like the beginning of Time by Pink Floyd.

I wasn't a fan of the strings, but weirdly, i think I've said the same thing in about 3 or 4 different reviews in the last week, so maybe it's just some strange personal vendetta i have developed against strings....i have no idea why! ;D

Caco I love you too. :D :-*
Thank you for your nice words.Feels good to read them.Great idea with the chiming and ringing clocks but I ´m not sure how to manage this.Where to find a sound like that? Any tips are welcome.
With the strings we have to work on.You know constant dripping will wear away a stone. ;D ;D
Thank you
Alexander
