I start this year presenting a song of mine. The song is referring about getting old and no chance to stop this.

Happy new year My Friend Alex and your Family, beautiful song sang in such a way that speak to me saying you don't need to try to get better your melody and vocals are already there but.

Our home my Friend is our future and we do get wiser in our old age that's how the young learn so much.

Hi and a Happy New Year to you.

I've been trying to analyse what it is about your writing and delivery that I find so compelling and I think it's basically honesty and truthfulness. You're saying profound things but in a way which no one else is. I think some of that is the language thing but it's also the simplicity and effectiveness of your style.

I don't like the vocal effect you've used - I don't think it adds anything and I think I would find it annoying after a few listens.

I've noticed that the number of forum members who are listening to, and more importantly, commenting on your songs is declining rapidly. This is a shame - I think too many people are expecting perfectly turned out pop productions with the inevitable "song by numbers" formula of verse, pre-chorus, middle eight, verse chorus yada yada yada... They also expect you to "develop" your musical style and not keep to the same path. That disappoints me.

Keep writing and posting - your material is outstanding.

Hi,

There is nice sound in the vocals. It's little bit odd but I like it.
The chord progress is good but maybe repeated too many times.
The drums and bass could make the song much much better.

This is great. It's pretty unusual sounding, I can hear a lot of different influences but none stand out in particular, it's very unique.

I'm not sure what I have to say about this that is constructive, other than that I agree with montydog about the vocal effect.

It's a great song.

         This song has a nice presence &  the appeal is  in the no frills way you have  sung & recorded
the song.....the song & lyrics are to my liking  & You know I like your tone & voice. I think if you were
produced as in music arrangement &  mix  this would sound amazing.

   you have a vulnerability & it comes across on both your voice  & your guitar chordwork....its as if
the guitar & voice  follow  each other  & slow down or go up in tempo together in sync. this softness
& sensitivity is alluring  &  thats what I forgot to write down......When you gave me a chance,an opertunity to  write something else  after I had already wrote  something else &  its this something else that you are now reading.

stunning Alexander you've taken a subject that's kind of scary as we age, and made it OK
time just keeps on ticking...we're all headed for the inevitable and there's nothing any of us can do about it, but it can be as beautiful as birth, if we perceive it that way
nice job with the strings and of course the vocals are lovely although they could be a little higher in the mix and I'm not sure about the heavy reverb, but that just IMHO
a beautiful song and beautifully delivered as always CS
