I've given up with Logic and Garageband and multi-functional workstations.... call me a luddite, but I believe that true music comes from the human voice and the instrument.  Tadaaaaa......

A bit of background:  just back from pub and writing a song about my observations of the night ....

Beautiful pianicism (is that a word??) yet again sir, absolute CLASS...

I totally agree with what you say, in the end, it's the music that speaks, if it's good it's good, simple.

I'm liking the video element here, that skill deserves to be seen.

I'm not sure why this is in the WIP section, how could you do anything more to it?

Thanks for sharing your post pub piano session with us.

hab.

Thank you Sir Hab!  The song lacks a second verse, but i'm working on that (anyone want to offer any lyrics!!?) - I like the raw and live recordings and wish we had a separate forum to showcase these youtube ideas for songs which are in the making, because feedback is so very important to how the finals songs develop :-)

Don't you just hate it when people make playing the piano look so easy. You've chosen to keep it simple; some of us have no choice  :'(

This one's got a very stagey sound - like it's from a musical. It's way off my radar but I admire how you make it sound so easy and natural. The vocals are a bit shakey in places but it's only a WIP. Very sophisticated writing - I salute you...
