Thought I would throw another cover in the bar

I can't explain why but I am always drawn to sad songs and tend to write songs in that vein ???

Yet I think I am quite a jovall happy go lucky chap!

Hope everyone's good tonight - I am delighted as my mum gets released from hospital tomorrow after 2 major ops , blod clots, collapsed lungs , 2 infections and I could go on...

But I am really happy  ;D

God those comments brought a tear to my eye , and sorry to hear that about your brother STC

My mum gets the cancer results this week so hopefully it's more good news

It's been a weird 2 weeks , strangely difficult but quite uplifting the way my family has pulled together

Oh and the song - I love this one and funnily enough' late night , maudlin street 'has always been a favourite of mine  ;)

I love this song. And the album "The Queen is Dead". Shows how songs can transcend dodgy 80s production! (Note - that isn't really fair...there are some lovely production decisions on there, but it is very "of its time". I listen past this to the sublime songs though)

And this version is lovely, lovely, lovely.

Your slightly whispy vocal I don't hear often. It suits. The piano is great. I love the string motion. A real player would take that and work magic, but luxuries are luxuries for a reason! One day hey...

Huge thumbs up to choice and performance here :)

A very Long, happy & healthy Life to your mum. & A great cover  You've got that certain something by
way of vocals & feel.  You also seem to have had a great & varied influence & music background which
is a positive thing when making music.

Keep on creating & song/music is the greatest uplifter in any given situation
