Hey... Andy here from TNMC/Neverwas. Good lyric indeed, well written and evocative, but have you ever heard the Nik Kershaw song of the same name? Its on his '15 Minutes' album and yours is very similar to it in that they are both about a guy with various responsibilities and obligations who is still undecided about what he wants out of life.
