I wrote a song for The Time Lord, and I hope I can get some help from some fellow Doctor Who fans/Whovians. :)

I could get some tips as I'm slightly stuck :)

Verse 1

I fear he is a lonely man
No one for company
And everywhere he goes, I know

I waited for a long, long time
In the back of my garden
And I'm still waiting for him
Just anything to appear

(Still need to write a pre-chorus)

Chorus

I want to travel
With the Doctor
Follow him, where he goes
Explore the whole of the galaxy
To anywhere he knows

I write songs about geek culture, fandoms, life, love, people, etc.
Hopefully you can relate :)

Very on point of the topic!

"I want to travel in his ship,
Sail across the stars,
Go to a planet,
Faraway from ours"

Just some ideas for whatever you may or not may want to use it for. Could help you write some more!

Oh gosh, these are perfect! Maybe not in rhythm or time, but the words I could definitely use. Thank you!

I'm of the John Pertwee/Tom Baker vintage when it comes to Dr Who.

I don't know much about it either but what i would do is go on somewhere like Wikipedia and do a search for Dr Who and pick out all the key facts and make a list.

Then maybe you could say you want to be his assistant fighting his enemies the Daleks/Cybermen etc.

Mention the Tardis of course, what is found in there and mention the fact it's an old police call box. Maybe get the name of the planet the Doctor came from in there somewhere. Mention the fact that when he dies he changes into a new Doctor perhaps.

There's some ideas that might help.

I was getting into that then!

Phil.

I don't know what i'm doing but i do it anyway.

I did want to add that, but the "character" of this song doesn't know much about him, and I decided to stay away from the enemies of the Doctor, etc.
You know, I decided to keep it simple :)

I think you should write a song called, "I am the Doctor..." In the first person.
I would like to know how he thinks and feels... not just from someone looking on.
Terry.

I did, but the idea/concept failed or I thought it was too cheesy.
For me, the Doctor is too mysterious to be written as 1st person.

That's just my opinion, though :)
