Hi,

This is a bit of a leap into the unknown for me, I usually do folk music... ::)

I have recorded my 22 month old daughter singing one of her own compositions  ;D 'Tap-tap (dabadabadee)'  I found it so catchy (it's stuck in my head) that I thought it might make a good basis for a dance track.

I have looped it and added a drum loop, just to give an idea. She was looping it herself but I made this version so that it was more evenly in-time (150 bpm)

I really could do with Dutchbeat here, it's right up his street, or someone VERY similar  ;) but either way, I'd like someone to work with me to make it into a complete track, with video. The idea being that it could become one of those annoying crazy frog type things that makes loads of cash  :D :D :D (for the university fund  :D)

Cheers

That's infectious...it certainly does have a crazy frog quality about it.

I wish I had more time on my hands at the moment because I'd have a crack at this with you.

If you want to let me have a copy of the raw vocal, minus the drum loop. I'd be happy to keep it close by in case I get chance to work on it.

You'll probably get a flood of offers so feel free to decline.

I can't make any promises but I'd be willing to have a bash if get lucky with some free time.

Hey John,

It is way outside of my area of semi-expertise but if you give me the track minus the beats on it i will play with it for an hour or so and see if gets my wheels spinning, if it does i will pursue if not ill let you know and someone else can try it.

Let me know if that interests you.

Allan.

@yoda, Allan, thanks for the offers guys, I'm working on it myself but what I'd like to do, if you don't mind, is send that raw loop to both of you, just to see what (if anything) you can come up with, I can also send you my mix so far if you want.

I'll sort that loop later and pm you

Cheers

Hab.

I'm melting! So cute and very catchy, I agree. I think you're on the right lines with the beat and effect.  What about her laughing as if she is being tickled and then she responds with dabadabadee!  Just to add extra interest so to speak.  It reminds me a bit of that la la song that is popular!
