thanks so much everyone ,
im double chuffed as i felt all the entries were breathing down each others necks, strong characters behind all the songs and all quite different so its really brilliant feeling to get a result like this..means something and i know paul will feel the same though it may be passed his bedtime, im going to mail him and may get a response this evening, if i ever finish writing this..

Well done to everyone who wrote and presented a song for August.  There have been some great tracks!  It's been a lovely surprise to find that so many people have enjoyed 'The Big Slide' and were kind enough to cast their vote in favour of this song.  Hey Nooms - I'm still delighted with everything that your brought to this project. 

Thank you Jess for taking charge of August's  Song Of The Month.  You did a great job!

Looking forward to hearing September songs!
