Cool sounding intro, good vocals and lyrics, which are easy to relate to.
And I liked the way it all build with drums coming in. Sympathetic production.
One little thing I noticed there were some artefacts just after 'she speaks to kill' at 0.40...

The guitar lyrics and vocals, they just open the door and invited me in and i took my seat, i know some people like build up to songs music wise but as i said, guitar lyrics and vocals.

Hey all

Been a while since I came on here...wow, the forum's exploded!

Work in progress? New admins? Great stuff! We just keep going from strength to strength

Anyway, I've been working on this track for ages now. I'd appreciate some feedback on production and generally fleshing it out (if you think it needs it)

ATM it's just my vocal, guitar, wee bit of organ and a bass drum. How does this all feel to you? Suggestions very welcome!

I'm gonna do a better take on the vocals too

I was anticipating that the chorus was going to "kick it up a gear."  Maybe a faster tempo, and lift the volume a bit.  Dunno why I was waiting for that, or even if it's a good idea.  I just was waiting to hear it and then didn't.

Great song, I really like the guitar work.  Story is good too and the emotion of it comes across well.  A couple of non-vocal parts felt slightly longer than ideal - but I might change my mind on that tomorrow :-)  Overall, excellent stuff.
