This song is still being written but I thought I'd keep Steve company and see what you all think.  I'll post a recording when it's done

In the Ether

the world is losing its heart

I quite like some of the images and themes, but it feels to disjointed at the moment, and doesn't quite track with the melody I have for it.  Been working on it on and off for ages now, so would like to finish it soon...

nice stuff tone. loads of themes. have you got chords? what type of sound are you gonna give it?

thanks Steve - probably too many themes if I'm honest - I would like to give the song more direction and a more specific atmosphere.  It's got a narrative, ambient sort of feel - nylon strung acoustic guitar with strong melodic passages, fingerstyle.  Not so easy to describe actually; I'll have to leave that one a bit vague.

Too many themes? Too many chords more like haha! Tone's songs are fantastic, but don't ever try to learn one! He's the man of many chords  Every time he teaches me a song with its 85 billion chord changes, It takes me ages to remember the sequence of said 85 billion chords, and then once I have, and I'm patting myself on the back for actually remembering them, Tone stops me and goes 'no, that's wrong, the second time round it goes like this' and then there's a whole new sequence plus new chords to remember. So I've given up trying!! lol!
