Hi Everyone.
                 I think everyone should be made aware of things going on in the last couple of months.A forum member(English is his 2nd language) has craftily been stealing ideas & tunes making them his own
& then lapping up the credit. This is very unfair &  I have worked hard at producing what I do. I dont want anyone else to feel like I do hence making you aware. It is NOT coincidental as the pattern is conclusive. Heres whats going on...........

He could NOT play EUROPA so recorded an easy version  Inclusive of  using almost identical TEXT & info.

 Yes he plays the guitar & well  but  does not deserve the credit what he is enjoying at the moment

  I think he should be original &  try not to  fill his Youtube as if theres no tommorrow....His youtube is a New account  mine is now 4 years +  He has done  SANTANA.....Which I  have done years ago!

I think he is one crafty  ole git  &  ENGLISH IS ALSO MY 2nd Language  so  he cant say he has a disadvantage.

He is probably  recording  YESTERDAY now & will call it Tommorrow   
               I  dont mind  inspired or  influenced  etc.  just  blatant rip-off  & done snidily...is kind of low.
Hi Kevin   Just him being like everybody else will suffice & he is entitled to be a member  so  as long as he  is  true (as can be)  to making something  that he can proudly claim to be his....A tune or song that  has not been  'swiped'  & on top  him lapping up all the praise. Anyone can add effects & layer music?  I played my socks off  in  My Santana Tribute &  it was a tribute  Using Europa which is A santana tune  & not  a   copy claimed to be  original.

I'm sorry to be the one to point this out, but calling Saeed out for copying you is somewhat hypocritical since your youtube track is a cover version.

In fact, technically, you're in breach of copyright by uploading it to a public space (not that it's any of my concern or business).

Just because you've done a cover version doesn't mean nobody else can do the same.

If Saeed is really ripping off Beatles songs as you say, then why make it your business? It only becomes my business if he posts plagiarised material on the forum.

Threads like this are petty and don't do the forum any favours.

The purpose of this thread is not about  what he does  its about  how he does it. My Tribute track is just that but he took the text & context &  did NOT do a cover  but recorded a simplified version which
has the same melody line & claims it as his own?  I am constantly in touch with Youtube &  My cover has been there since january 2009. They know about it & if I were in any breach they would have removed it long ago. I'm covered legally.
          Its about being  honest......being true  Normally  I dont care  what people do as you say its their buisness. Its when someone does things repeatedly that the novalty wears off!
      You also know  its not just the Santana track....which he conjured up....He took My OWN SONG..
MOTHER & did one.... in fact  As I was writing this thread ....He did Lyrics to a song: HOW LONG...
 strange coincidence.....I   mentioned MY OWN SONG:  HOW  in Let it All go thread  a few days ago
& hey presto  HOW  becomes  HOW LONG.............
         Everyone tends to mollycuddle  him  oh English is his 2nd language etc. he knows exactly what he is doing & uses it to his advantage. He on many occasions has jumped the queue in uploading his material....days ahead   whilst other people  wait patiently  & follow the rules & guidelines about posting after a  14 day gap? 
           THIS THREAD IS  CALLED:  AWARENESS....One day  You & others might thank me  when you
are faced with a problem,lawsuit or someones feelings are hurt.

  The point of this thread........Tell him to be a bit more original  instead of pilfering.
  He is trying to  fill his newly opened Youtube account  with  ants in his pants & encourage  more views   but  its  about quality....not quantity.   I am not  doing this  to score points or a pat on the back....its about  morals & principles. He may fool most people?  but  I'm not a fool.......

Stylus, if someone posts a copy of your song here on the forum, I will be the first to jump to your defence and take the appropriate action.

There's certainly no mollycoddling going on - I'm not swayed by a person's nationality or language.

But as far as I, and the forum is concerned, what happens on youtube can stay there.

Hi Tone....As  I said at the beginning of this thread...there is no need for any action... its about common sense & a dignified sense of good practice. awareness means  just that....I have got it out of my system without ruining anybodies thread or any kind of maliciousness.
        Yes Youtube remains where it is.......& it is  massive....because  they have a system. I have tried to be a decent member...I write songs,compose my own music  just like anybody else......I am not after  accolades,or  loads of views or comments. I have made some amazing friends on here &
  have participated in a noble way.  I made a point...I think I did it in the right way?
             Life goes on.......Youtube goes on.......I go on..............

Yes of course there's a line between right and wrong, but as owner of this forum, I have a unique responsibility to monitor the content of the threads here.

And while I'm certain you're not out to slander anyone, I don't feel that threads like this really belong in the public domain (or at least, not on this one).

Please remember that any slander or similar posted here ultimately falls on my head should anyone wish to get all legal on me.

I understand you feel vindicated, but I do think you've been a little heavy-handed in this instance.

My approach would be to take your concern direct to Saeed and try to resolve it in private.

Stylus..i think ..YT is YT...your not wrong to raise concerns with copyright infringement...but not sure if this is the best way to go about it? then again at least it`s out there.....i would advise.....leave it for now,,,,and see what future works from Saeed....who hasn`t replied to this post..

Thanx'z   STC    Its  like any law.   Be they  laws of the land,Social & criminal,Forum rules  or so forth
Laws are for everyone  some break them,some get away with it. Most people stay within the parameters .  I have as mentioned in  the previous post  halted in my tracks. This is because I felt what tone said was right.  As this forum is for everyone & not just myself. I respect this site & all on it.
so  I   wanted to drop this  & have....... I dont see myself above nobody &  I respect everybody.
               I am  just gonna be my happy go lucky self again  & be a born again hippie with Dogmax &
