Also, where are these magical stats that should be at the bottom of my page?! I feel deprived of forum knowledge here!

Weirdly I can't see that stat now either  ??? ???

yes, weird things happen at this forum..
we could even end up having a competition about what happened on Sep 4th, 2009

in which the only rule is that the song has be about:

what happened on Sep 4th of 2009?

edit: i added a question mark....to that last sentence

Ahhh we have a stats page...(except from the fact I had DOUBLE maths this morning and if I see another stat right now I might cry...) but actually these stats are quite interesting...
I love how the bar is more popular than the lyrics board... :P
In fact I'm not even allowed in bars! I swear you have to be 16..?
...hint taken guys, hint taken :'(

Plus that competition sounds cool :)

What a coincidence, I think my SETI was really busy that day too...

+1 for the competition :-)

Well competition or no competition - I had a few hours train journey today and couldn't resist it for  a laugh...
(I'll post it in the proper place for feedback later when some of my other stuff has slid down the lists, and when I've recorded it on my downtuned Draco :-)

What Happened September 4th 2009?

verse 1
Our forum found the numbers as they sorted through the stats
They like to keep a record of what’s happened in the past
Someone found anomalies one Friday afternoon
No-one realized it could be signaling our doom
We tried to do analysis, the team were getting tired
The moderator made a call, more data was required

pre-chorus
Around the world they were sleeping like the dead
We looked around ‘till somebody said

chorus
What happened on September fourth two thousand and nine?
Who remembers what we did so far back in time?
The evidence is there to see but no-one can explain
What happened on September fourth two thousand and nine

verse 2
We could only speculate but no-one really knew
What evil had raised it’s head and what could it do
Was there a conspiracy? the rise of the machine?
Some kind of infection, or corrupted data stream
There would have been a cover-up, already it’s too late
The secret’s out and now we are awaiting our fate

pre-chorus
Armies on stand-by, the danger code is red
The generals and the president have said

chorus
What happened on September fourth two thousand and nine?
Who remembers what we did so far back in time?
The evidence is there to see but no-one can explain
What happened on September fourth two thousand and nine

bridge (3/4)
The mystery came from the shadows
The truth may never be found
The sheep still graze in the meadows
And people still work in the towns

solo (3/4 then over verse in 4/4)

outro
The evidence is there to see but no-one can explain
What happened on September fourth two thousand and nine

Bots are automated computers that trawl the net looking for email addresses, forums, anything like that - information they can send back to their owners. That's why you have Captcha queries on most forums etc.
