hey hi to you al out there, was wondering if there is any country fans out there who would like to have a stab at doing my track, AINT NO LIFE FOR A COWBOY ? not posted on the bar before, so be interesting to see the response,
cheers guys

kev! :)

wheels spinning wildly, out on a dusty track
don't no where it's heading, but there's no turning back
i'll head into the mountains, see what comes my way
had enough of this two bit town, nothing here for me anyway
(pre chorus)
cos i am done with trying
i'm done with all the pain
i keep on getting up to try
       then get knocked down again
so i'll be on my way now
to where i do not know !
       but one thing is certain
it's time for me to go

(chorus)
this aint no life for a cowboy
no life for a man like me
gota be out in the countryside
        to believe i'm truely free
yeh this aint no life for a cowboy
workinG a factory all day long
gota get out in the wilderness
        cause that's where i really belong !

there's thunder in the mountains and the rivers rising fast
i've come into the country, to forget about my past
the memories stay young and fresh, though i am growing old
i love the sunshine on my face, but can no longer stand the cold

we used to ride out together, with the wind blowin in our face
now you've gone there's nothing left, JUST a great big empty space
you loved the trees in early fall, sun going down on a mountain side
even though you left me  early, you'll be forever by my side
(pre chorus)
cos i am done with trying
i'm done with all the pain
i keep on getting up to try
           then get knocked down again
so i'll be on my way now
to where i do not know !
           but one thing is certain
it's time for me to go

(chorus)
this aint no life for a cowboy
no life for a man like me
gota be out in the countryside
          to believe i'm truely free
yeh this aint no life for a cowboy
workin in a factory all day long
gota get out in the wilderness
cos thats where i really belong !

Hey buddy,

You might be better placing this under collaborations.

Gluck with it.

Allan.

hey allan,
good to hear from you fella, yeh i think your right, i only posted here as one of the other guys on here said post it on the bar, anyway about your track, ITS JUST TIME ' some nice lyrics there, some of the nice words at the end of each verse might be a bit tricky to fit in, once you start to sing the track. however interesting lyrics, and good use of language, i also like how you put your songs together, i look forward to hearing this one !

cheers allan

Hello kev ..

well I did have a go at it .. the chorus .. manged to get something going .. then went to the you tube to hear some country music on it .. Man o man .. all the song is not near what I remember of country music and songs .. it's rock heavy and rock & roll and swing .. nothing close to what I remember ..   ???

so I think if that's what you are looking for .. then I think calling country song is not right .. just post it as lyrics and that well be good ..  :D

Cheers ..
