hey yall, lol, i know country is not everyones cup of tea, but i love it.
this song "MOONLIGHT DRIFTER" is about a guy that has no roots, or home, so he justs drifts aroun from place to place, trying to find work, getting drunk, and playing his guitar contemplating his lonely life !

i've tried this and that without success
things start off well, but often end in a mess,
so now and then i take to drinking

some about my past, recalling

i know a pretty little girl in

deep inside, that drifting's in my blood
so after a couple of days, i'm back

I would love to hear this. I've recently fallen in love with country music and it's becoming something I've started to write more of.

I really like this song. Flows very well and in my head I could definitely see it being a country piece of music.

Hey booboo, yeh i love it too, its still a huge market, and the only one that is growing, especially now with all the country/pop cross over stuff out there, taylor swift, lady antobellam, etc, but its hard to get someone in the uk to record a really good authentic country track, but glad u like it  keep an eye out on here and i will post more country tracks for you !!

Strong country feel for sure. Might be tad long at 5 verses. IMHO i would look at condensing so that it could be brought in under 4 mins. Just my 2 cents worth.

yeh was thinking that, but the hook is not that long, so wanted to get it all in, to tell the whole story, but i know what you mean, might drag it on a bit, into four n a half min maybe, but i really like this one ! lol, got other country songs that are not so long, i'll post them soon, i take it you are from state side ?

Hi, this looks like a classic country song and well written too, though I agree with seriousfun that it may turn out to be a bit long.  I'd volunteer for the music but I'm not much of a finger picker and you definitely wouldn't want my voice on it :-S

I am from NZ but i do write a lot of country. Even when i try to writesomethibg else it still seems to sound country. Must be my voice lol.
