Hey guys

Not sure if I'm posting in the right place but this is my entry to the summer song competition.

It's called Filia and is about a beautiful place my wife and I like to stay at on the Greek island of Skiathos. I was also attracted to the idea that Filia is a popular name for a girl in Greece so it could also be interpreted as a love song also.

It was written and recorded fairly quickly in my home studio with my writing partner. We're called King & Scholes.

Anyway I hope you all like!

Hey Dan!

I like it. The ukulele and tambourine def. bring the summer vibe.
And the topic is certainly relevant as well, a place to get away.

Although I'm a big fan of strings, I would leave them out here. For me it kind of breaks the vibe (if that makes any sense?)...
Otherwise it works really well. I'm loving the edgy vocal in the chorus!
