Just curious...will the songs be judged on the merit of the song writing or will production, recording, performance be part of it?

Just to be clear, is it necessary for the song to be written / composed / sung by the person who posts it please?

I only write lyrics and then melody is composed by someone else too.

Can a song as described above be accepted for the competition please?
