Hi, I was trying something a bit different based on a garageband loop ( xxx.caf.m4a ) and want to use it in Sonar X1. Sonar's import function doesn't support that format, but the usual including mp3 and Wav, is there anyway I can save this into such a format or get the loop into Sonar?
Thanks in anticipation

You can use http://media.io/  to convert m4a to wav or mp3, if that helps..

Just upload the file, the site converts it, then you can download in again in the new format

If you have iTunes you can use this to convert it to an MP3, which will play nicely with Sonar

To convert to MP3 in iTunes you may need to change your import settings - then drag your M4a into iTunes, and then "right click" and choose to create an MP3 version

You can then remove the files from iTunes so they are not included in your music collection!

Zamzar is excellent for any type of file conversion.
