Stage Piano via Yamaha Stagepas?

Stage Piano via Yamaha Stagepas?

I recently treated myself to a Korg SV1.
I've been a very good boy this year, but wasn't sure if Santa would see it that way so I took matters into my own hands.

At the moment it's playing through a single (and ancient) Vox amp.
Needless to say, this is not giving my new instrument the chance to shine.

I was looking at purchasing a Yamaha Stagepas 300 set-up.
Does anyone have any experience using these for stage pianos?

 Yeah it will work.
A bit overkill maybe. If it is for gigs, you'd be better off just getting a great DI box and going through the venue/band PA.

If it is for home, it will pack way to much power. You'd get better sound and more manageable volume at home by just getting some nice studio monitors. Adam A3x or something.
