Hey guys,

i just wrote some lyrics and would love to know your opinion about it.
how do you feel when you read it, how do you understand it?
language advice is always welcome.

ps: dont mind the german translation thats just for a german froum ;)

thx in approach

Diamond Heart

can you hear this?

since its coming from afar

since you coming from beyond

--

does your heart beat?

since its brighter than the sun

since youve put it in your chest to shine

--

does your mind weep?

when your pump is creaking (out)

and your mouth is trying to shout

--

Chorus:

(you) try all you know to save your diamond heart from breaking down

although it blinks its hard and cold as steel thats draging you down

--

so i told him: hey brother, you should tear this stone out

crush it to thousand pieces and trade them for love

to get back the juice in you veins that nourish your soul

--

no, he said nononono cause

Chorus:

Ill try all i know so save my diamond heart from breaking down

although one day it might be burning my soul and searing my bone

--
bridge

--

one day as i went for a walk
i found a pile of ashes in the yard
and it was glimmering from a thousand diamond shards

You need to post in English only ..it`s difficult to follow..but at first glance,,,it`s not quite right...again some strange use of wording, that will sound odd to English speakers?

All depends how you record this...maybe it will work then!

first of all hi , i am from germany as well , so i kinda know how it is to try something in another language...
to be honest i didnt get any vibe so far ... do you have some genre in mind ? some melody? some song that inspired you ?

unfortunately i cant understand  the connection ... a diamond heart is somethin´ unbreakable, just my opinion .... and when he rips out his heart how should he still be able to feel love ?
To me it seems a bit odd kinda twisted ... he has a diamond heart ... that drags him down ... but still it shines bright ? i thought he is heartbroken or something like this ...

pure hearts are meant to bleed

yes the demo version with guitar is already there.

the idea of the diamond heart was that a guy exchanges his heart with a diamond.
at first the diamond seems to be shiny and indestructable but then he sees that its also cold and heavy and a bad replacement
