I've been writing pop songs since the 60's and currently enjoying modest success with releases by Engelbert Humperdinck - Robin Beck and the cast of Dreamboats and Petticoats.
I also work occasionly with producer/ writer Roger Cook. ( Nashville)
I write middle of the road pop songs and some country music.
I'd like to team up with other writers, who can produce high quality recordings, and programme / sequence the backing tracks.
Someone who can play keyboards and lead guitar parts to a high standard as I only play acoustic guitar.
I can get songs directly to Engelbert Humperinck - Status Quo - Jackie Trent - Roger Cook ( country songs) also Les Reed and Barry Mason - Tony Hatch - Don Black - Cliff Richard.
I also want to compose instrumental music for TV and films. ( it pays well!)
And for regular "bread and butter" wages - I can produce radio ads.
With a strong 60's / 70's influence - I can't do the modern X factor - Radio one stuff - I'm too old for that!
