I'm new here, so I'm still figuring everything out, but I wrote this song a month or so ago and did a rough recording and I wanted to share it.  I'd love to have some feedback.  Thanks!

This is really good...you`ve got a lot of character in your voice..

Theres a very appealing melody going on in this tune..lyrics are also well thought out.....theres some hesitation at moments in your recording..happens to me..like when theres a chord change.for example...

If at some stage you can get a better recording done..do it.!!

melody is nice .. lyrics too .. voice great .. now you said rough recording .. I think it's time to do one .. with planing .. like .. only acoustic .. one or two .. solos may be guitar , banjo harmonic .. only suggestion .. like that .. producers thing ..

Like the lyrics very much realy but the playing of the guitar sounds a bit hag ridden. The voice sounds good but can be much better I think when you sing more from the paunch and not in top of the neck.
