Here's my latest offering, randomly inspired by a quote from Coco Chanel... Thoughts appreciated!

I Never Cared

1.
It’ll take a long time,
For me to forget,
The expression on your face when you realised,
That I could look you in the eye,
Talk to you face to face.
You’ve got an ego so out of control,
No one knows where it’ll go

Chorus.
You think you did me wrong,
How’d I find the strength to carry on?
You should have asked me,
‘cause I never cared.
It didn’t faze me at the time,
Your perception of a rage does not apply.
Conversations happen,
But I never cared.

2.
Well I’ve had enough,
Of people walking on egg shells.
Thinking they’ve a bearing on my life,
Like they’re important.
If I gave you all the time,
That you think you deserve,
Well, I’d run out of room for those who matter.

Hi,

Interesting song. I like the percussive feel to the rhythm and the lead work is good. Good vocals with a nice melody. Very abrupt finish.

Good tune.

I concur, this is a nice, groovy, cool song - very reminiscent of early Jesse McCartney.  But your vocals are better - pretty much note perfect. Well done.

My criticism is the chorus - it's just an extension of the verse.  You need a key change to really differentiate it.

Thumbs up  :D

Oooh this is cool, that guitar playing is really cool, and the vocal is really good.

I think possibly some of the lines sound a little 'squeezed in' but they don't detract. I'm often guilty of this as well so "pot...kettle"   :D :D

Excellent work mate

This I like. Simple components well employed, solid vocals and a killer set of melodies. You manage to fit in a LOT of musical ideas in 2mins 30seconds. Solid stuff.

Your vocal is very expressive and tight on the pitch, quite the instrument there!

Time for a more "professional" SoundCloud picture surely?  ;D

Very strong vocal - excellent sense of melody. Nicely played guitar solo - but some of the harmonies didn't work for me. Second post - another good one - well done :)

Your voice is great! As is your guitar-playing. This is a good recording. Splendid Spanish solo! I like endings in some songs that just snap out abruptly, and for this it works.

Excellent stuff.

Great voice, I liked it even better second time round too!

I like this acoustically, but I wonder what it would sound with a full production?

Very talented  ;D
