Hi all, this new one im posting, i got the
bug to write after reading and hearing about some of the people who serve our country's armed forces then get left on the scrap heap so to speak, so hear goes ill do a rough recording ASAP an post the link.
The military man does all he can
Then comes home to work the land
The foundations he once laid
Have now been over paved
By the security and a new age
Like the mechanical eye
In the man made sky
It's nothin' like the old days
It's changed so much
He may never survive
My stomping ground has gone
The place i lived were i belonged
My hopes and dreams
That kept me going
Ther all gone, gone gone
Now ill never see those places
We're i used to go when I was a boy
And ill never see those faces
Of the people I'd see
When I'd be around my local
Memories turn to madness
Hero's turn to victims
No one here's a winner
When all we do is killin'
Now im home and all has changed
I can't wait to see my fiancé
But just as I arrive
I find out to my surprise
That she went and met a new man
Who's wealthier than me
And he don't dig the war
Now they've gone and got their own plans
On how there gonna be happy
And raise my little boy
Same as usual all comments welcome good and bad
