Hi,

I entered 5 songs into this competition for the first time this year. I managed 2 semi final places and 3 commended so I'm happy especially as I only started writing and playing guitar last year. Anyone else enter?

Never entered any of those over here, I almost entered the John Lennon one a few years ago but was told it was pretty much just a moneymaker off the entry fees...Congratulations on your entries over there, I may have to give one of thois a go and see what happens...BTW - at least it's snowing on the Forum...wish it were here as well for the Christmas holiday!

Hi Montydog.
I entered a couple of songs in the second half part of this competition(well done you) I got the first response with free membership to Songu and Broadjam but nothing else. Have they announced the results now?

I entered 3 myself just to test the waters and I got two commended and
I also reached the semi final, in the instrumental category. I enetered that "Bubbles in Puddles" piece I
did a while ago. I was quite shocked but really chuffed of course.
You got two semi final spots, so hats off to you.

I got a semi final placings in the Country category and in the Adult Contemporary and commended in the Singer Songwriter, Adult Contempory and Love Song categories. Congrats on your result.

Well done all.
My co writer and I got two "commended" rated 6 first time of entering  and first time writing together. We're happy with that too.
