You're alone on a desert island for eternity, you have a CD player so you can listen to ONE song.

which one?

What a terrible prospect! Not being stranded on a desert island, but only having 1 song to listen to!

If it was one piece of music I'd probably go for Elgar's Cello Concerto. If it was a song then possibly Meet On The Ledge by Fairport Convention. But ask me again tomorrow and I'll have changed my mind.

The live version of American Woman by the Guess who. Its 20 minutes long and has lots of variety in the different sections. Could also double as a drinks coaster when I dont feel like listening to music and could be hung from a piece of string from a palm tree to act as a bird scarer.

I am also wondering about its attributes as a frisbee hmmm.

What a terrible, awful question! :o
That would just kill you. The same song every day, no matter how long and varied and how much you like it. It would surely end in madness.  :P
Can I swap my cd for Chunky Kit Kat vending machine?

Oh no Schauv, could you really eat the same chocolate day after day for the rest of your life?  I will play my iPod mostly and just pay the cd on the odd occasion most likely. But I will have a lot of vending machines and an ice maker for gin and tonics. This island is starting to appeal more and more, I just hope and pray the sea air doesn't effect my mixing desk.

It would ruin your love of the song to take it with you and listen to it over and over again - torture!  Maybe some classical music though that might be nice - a nice long piece of classical music that you could dip into it - that would do it perhaps.  Maybe I'm looking into this too much though - perhaps it's more about what your favourite song of all time is  ;D

Answer:
I haven't got a clue! It would definitely be a ballad though I think  ::)

I was going to say the same thing! Or The Chain - Fleetwood Mac. Or Gold Dust Woman.

"Oh no Schauv, could you really eat the same chocolate day after day for the rest of your life?" - I have so far  ;D haha
But i'd like to swap the machine for a Galaxy milk chocolate machine that magically keeps the chocolate at refrigerated temperature and also magically refills itself whilst at the same time also dispensing a nice cup of tea so that you can melt the chocolate in your mouth.
Yep that's do  ;D

Anything by Ed Sheeran will do just fine.
