I wonder if Tone could make this a sticky, so that non-regulars can find it, as well as newcomers. It'll show them what we're all about  :)

Thanks Clive Cherry!!!!

and Habitat!

I downloaded the cd (thanks!), and then wanted to make a donation, but it seems very difficult (i really didn't manage to get it done) to make a donation from outside the UK...you have to give a billing address if you pay by creditcard, but all the options you can click are parts of the UK???

i have no experience with the texting option, but i also wonder in that case if someone from outside the UK can do that????

Have you tried doing it by PayPal? if you have that set up..

On their donation page there is a log in box for paypal.. (this link might work..  ???)

Hope you get it sorted :)

You've done a great job Hab.. I've already posted the link to this website on Facebook.

Thanks for your effort and ideas behind this.

It's nice that amateur songwriters are able to support these types of charities.  I look forward to supporting the next one........

Hi Hab..A BIG thank you from me.  You've done an amazing job here, and are a 'well deserved' winner.  This was my first 'on line' competition and collaboration, and it's been the most satisfying project I've been involved in for a long time ;D..I'm really impressed with the way everybody has helped and encouraged each other to produce such a wonderful album.  It's more than just a collection of good, original songs....it's a beautiful sculpture of 'artistic energy'  ;D  which is reflective of the character of this forum.....who knows what could be achieved here if we put our minds to it.....bring on the 'Concept Album' ;D ;D  Let's change the world  ;D ;D....Anyway, it's been a real pleasure to be part of this, with all you lovely, talented and helpful people....thanks a million....love you all (especially flossie and tinam :-*)

Aww thanks everyone, I've really enjoyed it. I totally agree with Bin, it's a pleasure to be here. I like the concept album idea, we could do our own version of War of the Worlds!  :D

I've been monitoring the activity on the Bandcamp page, it's quite impressive for only one day, although I do suspect most of it is just us lot listening for now :)  Remember guys, stick it on your Facebook, Twitter etc.. send links to your friends and family, get people sharing it. We need to keep up momentum, get new people listening, reading the banner at the top and donating. It's also a great way to increase your fanbase. I have no way of monitoring donations so this is our only indication of activity, until I get feedback from BADAW.

Pawprint Album stats after day 1..

Great work, all of you! :)
I've posted it on my Twitter yesterday.
Might get to putting it on Facebook later, but that's a big step for me, since nearly no one of my friends knows I'm songwriting. And for me FB is more personnal than my Twitter :p

I'm sitting here after a manic day, chilling out, listening to my CD of Pawprint Challenge.

Guys, this is seriously good and sounds great on CD through a stereo.

Remember to keep telling people, Facebooking etc..

I might make some copies and give them as Christmas presents..

(no coaster jokes please  :D)

I'll be posting stats updates for the bandcamp site every now and then. Traffic has tailed off quite a bit so keep on telling people :(

Still only half way through, but it's damn good. Very impressed with your work everyone. Feeling quite proud and very touched that you chose such a worthy cause for your music.
