I think that's my favourite bit Listening to and commenting on what other people are doing and of course at the same time see what feeback you can get on what you do.
If you're not ready to put your songs yet have a listen to some other peoples and write whatever you think. I think taking the time to listen to other peoples songs is returned when you post your own.

Hello - thanks for all the replies.

Dutchbeat - my songs are quite folky I guess, but that isn't set in stone. I mainly use guitar or banjo to accompany myself but again, nothing is set in stone! What about yourself?

I use synthesizers, keyboards, piano. And Mrs. Dutchbeat is the singer of our duo.

My guitar playing skills are poor, but I do make an occasional guitar song once in a while

I will put a song I just finished in the song review section in a minute.
