house of recondition    in A/ electric from soft to hard 4/4

welcome to the house of recondition, come on in its free admission

open to the young and old, welcome to the young and old

think me, lie awake at night and blink me, but dont you ever try to sink me

you would never be that bold

open to the young and old, welcome to the young and old

welcome to the house where we recondition your soul

t.v. all you wanna do is see me, look at the forest not the trees please

do you always do what youre told?

welcome to the young and old, open to the young and old

welcome to the house where we recondition your soul

              instrumental

free me im hungry for you so feed me you know what to do completely

youre turning my fingers cold

open to the young and old, welcome to the young and old

welcome to the house where we recondition you soul

Hey nice lyrics there - where do you get your inspiration from? Do you have lots of songs?

Hey Steve
I think this is my favourite song you've posted so far.... I get the feeling you're quite a prolific writer. Did you know we have a section especially for posting lyrics?

Follow that link and post away to your heart's content.  When I get this forum fixed (it's a bit broken) I'll move your other lyrics into that section too.

Keep up the good work mate.

thanks for the comment lads. most of the time a might just think from nowhere a catchy line and hum it in my head for a bit. anymore and i have to write it down before i forget. which i do alot of the time. i dont care how i write it just as long as its down. i do have to get the guitar out if ive got a tune to go with it, and then i can get some chords in.ive prob got 15/20 tunes. all stemming from a folky background, lots of minor chords but i do try to branch out and go for more rocky or bluesy stuff if i can. its hard to say really. like everyone i struggle finishing songs but if i cant ill just move on to something new and come back to it late rif i want or not.

all the best

steve

It's good that you are able to just sit down and write, Steve. Sounds like you find it quite a short road to get 'in the zone'.  Finishing songs is hard, but funnily enough I find it harder starting them.
Glad to see you're still posting your songs on here - please don't forget to post them in the lyrics section though which is here. http://www.songwriterforum.co.uk/lyrics/
This helps to keep the forum tidy :)
