Hi all,
I'm new to the forum - this is a brilliant resource. Its hard to believe I've been messin' around with song writing and recording at home for such a long time and never found you all before. Clearly a well kept secret! I was genuinely knocked out by the level of talent in all genres -  piano ballads, pop, folk and country through to rock.

I have been playing guitar for a while. I am happy to get involved in collabs - if you need a guitar, feel free to give me a try. I'd like to work with lyricists as I'm mainly a musician and arranger. But I love song writing and hope to post some of my songs soon.

And a quick thanks to tone for running a forum that gently guides people on the precarious journey towards song writing nirvana.

Hey Selva,

You have found your home :)

This truly is an AWESOME forum. The people are really nice and you'll get loads out of it if you get stuck in and review other people's work.

Good luck and enjoy!

Hi Hab,
I must confess to snooping around for a week or two before I joined, and couldn't help seeing that you're an ex-Essex man!! Struck a chord ;) because I'm from Rayleigh...but luckily escaped to a gentler place. Like you....I wasn't lad enough for Essex ! BTW have enjoyed your songs -you've got a lot of talent - I can feel the emotion.
Hope to be more involved now I've joined.

Stroller - you're welcome. Don't even think about giving it up!

Thanks Tone....I joined up because I liked what I saw over the course of a couple of weeks. A heady blend of musicianship, talent, humour and informed, kindly advice from like minded people. Priceless! Its a credit to you.

I personally have been hiding behind the giant 'This Is Spinal Tap' dvd, waiting for the rest of the straight up rockers to turn up.

Come on guys, I brought beer...
