Has anyone had any success with this site ??  I recently registered with them, and uploaded a few songs.  I keep getting emails....but they all want money. I know it's not much, so maybe worth the gamble.....just thought I'd see if anyone here has had any dealings with them, and what their thoughts were.......

I think all those sorta sites are just money making machines.
Granted they must have a few success stories or they'd get no interest.
Ate you in reverbnation ? Most of their "opertunities" involve a fee.
I wanted to be a hippy....but my mum wouldn't let me !!

I`ve heard nothing but bad things about musicxray. Google `musicxray scam`,usually the first page gives some links which are illuminating.

There are some where you don`t pay upfront,or for each pitch, but they take a percentage if you license your work to a third party.

Hi Bin,

Music xray provides excellent sound quality if you want somewhere to host your songs for review purposes.   However, I'n not keen to pay the expensive pitch fees.  I haven't so far and don't intend to in the near future.

If you're a BRILLIANT musician, producer etc who has songs ready for commercial use, and you find an industry professional who isn't just on that site to make money out of you, then you have a platform for decent advice, and maybe work. Just avoid the people that big themselves up with artists they've worked with etc, be savvy and you will have more luck.

Occasionally they give away freebies or cheap deals etc, you'll be notified of it if they do. If you don't want to pay, you can always earn it by rating songs, I've never bothered personally :/ but compared to other menial money making tasks online, it's certainly one of the better paid ones!

Looks good on the surface but I can see right through them.
