It's a very romantic song, I can feel through the lyrics what's happening to the guy who lost the girl. When I read this part:

"I wish u would come back to me,
And let me make you happy ,
Like we both planned it to be ,
Cos baby u mean the world to me"

I don't know why, but in my mind appeared the image of a 40's black woman jazz singer like Billie Holiday. I think it would fit well with this style.
Well, about this part right here:

"Cos  baby I ain't gonna lie
Being without you makes me wanna cry"

I think the "makes me wanna cry" sounds a little too obvious and boyish. It's just my opinion anyway, just trying to give you some constructive criticism. Let's see what others think.
